Weed money keeps pouring in. A recent study reports that legalized state have generated nearly $8 billion dollars in tax revenue.
The Marijuana Policy Project conducted the study. The MPP examined the tax structure and revenue streams of all 18 states that have legalized recreational cannabis.
Overall, it shows that establishing regulated marijuana markets gave states a steady growing source of revenue.
