Soon, you might be able to get some bud straight from Oregon in a dispensary near you! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cannabisbusinesstimes.com\/article\/oregon-legislation-cannabis-export-interstate\/\">CBT<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Craft Cannabis Alliance, a\u00a0business association led by founder and executive director Adam Smith, is working with legislators to\u00a0let Oregon start\u00a0exporting pot to other legal-weed states\u00a0by 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Among them is Sen. Floyd Prozanski, D-Eugene,\u00a0who said\u00a0he also plans to reintroduce provisions from\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/olis.leg.state.or.us\/liz\/2017R1\/Downloads\/MeasureDocument\/SB1042\/Introduced\"><em>Senate Bill 1042<\/em><\/a><em>, a similar proposal that died in the statehouse in 2017.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>This comes as the state&#8217;s legal weed industry has\u00a0faced plummeting prices over the past year due to\u00a0demand not\u00a0keeping up\u00a0with supply, experts said. Also at issue is whether bad actors are\u00a0<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.statesmanjournal.com\/story\/news\/2018\/01\/12\/blumenauer-blasts-oregon-u-s-attorney-pot-stance-billy-williams\/1029930001\/\"><em>funneling marijuana<\/em><\/a><em>\u00a0into the\u00a0lucrative black market.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Getting into the export business would put Oregon in a unique position amongst their peers.
