The state of Maryland<\/strong> is benefitting in a big off the decision to allow for the dale of medical marijuana. After roughly 1-year in, projections show $100 million dollars in sales.<\/p>\n

Dispensaries racked up nearly $35 million in sales in the first six months of 2018, and market activity is expected to increase significantly as more stores open their doors and patients register for the program.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Sales could approach the $100 million mark by the end of the year.<\/em><\/p>\n

As of June 2018, roughly 32,000 patients had been granted MMJ cards, an increase of 191% from December 2017. Nearly 13,000 additional patient applications are pending.<\/em><\/p>\n
