California Weed Delivery Service Raided by Bureau of Cannabis Control

California cannabis enforcement agency and the The Bureau of Cannabis Control and the state Department of Consumer Affairs’ Cannabis Enforcement Unit came down hard on a cannabis delivery company in Sacramento.

The Cannaisseur Club was hit for operating without a permit and not handing over taxes from sales.

According to the Sacremento Bee,

The raid occurred about a week before The Cannaisseur Club was scheduled to receive a hearing before the city’s Planning and Design Commission on its application for a conditional use permit to operate a delivery business at 7925 Butte Ave. in southeast Sacramento. The city has issued only a handful of operating permits to cannabis businesses, but has allowed some to operate while their applications are processed. Those businesses, however, must also have a permit from the state.

The Cannaisseur Club’s hearing has since been pulled from the Planning and Design Commission’s Thursday agenda, said Miriam Lim, an assistant planner with the city.

The club applied for a permit initially for conditional use as a cultivator, ut later changed it to a delivery.
